St. Joseph’s College beat Central College by 7 wickets at Junior Battle of Rajarata.
     It will continue annually hereafter paving wonderful opportunity to practice gentleman’s cricket among sports loving students of St. Joseph’s College and Central College, Anuradhapura.
      Master in charge and coach Mr. H.M.K.C. Aravinda Rajarathna of St. Joseph’s College and Mr. Sanjaya Kodithuwakku of Central College pioneered in negotiation and arrange the long with held Cricket tournament.
      The captaincy and vice captaincy were hold by Sadil Dewmin Bandara Dassanayake and N.R. Senuka Nadith Gunasekara for St. Joseph’s College and W.W. Themiya Rahal Wewala and T.P. Kaveesha Pasindu for Central College.

      Toss was won by the Captain of St. Joseph’s College and they invited Central College to bat first. Central College score was limited to 60 runs by Josephians. In their reply inning Josephians are able to win the match by 7 wickets in 7.2 overs.
